Fishing in the Midwest region is fun. There are a lot of different species around here and lots of opportunities to fish.

There are 3 main types of fishing in Minnesota

  • Convential Spin Fishing
  • Fly Fishing
  • Ice Fishing
  • This can be a great color for an attractor pattern used in fly fishing because it is something that they don't see often.

    Here is a photo of a very popular place to fly fish for trout in the twin cities area. This is a small river called the Rush River.

    The largest lake trout ever caught was 102 pounds and 50 inches long.

    The largest northern pike ever caught was 67 pounds and 57 inches long.
